New HAL Version 7 Preview
 

I thought I's share a few screen shots of the new HAL version 7 which will be released soon...

You'll be able to have all your various Data areas open at once instead of switching back and forth... You'll also be able to have the screens you had open previously, reopen when you start the app so you can continue where you may have left off. There are lots of new features but one I like is the ability to have Popup displayed in the lower right screen corner based on various events. Enjoy the preview!

Also I thought I tell you about this new feature in version 7. Wild Cards for Macro and Scene speech phrases... You can have Optional Phrases and Or type Phrases.

“Turn {the} Basement {TV|DVR} {channel} to ESPN”

which would yield the following acceptable utterances from the user:

“Turn the Basement TV to ESPN”
“Turn the Basement TV channel to ESPN”
“Turn Basement TV channel to ESPN”
“Turn Basement TV to ESPN”
“Turn the Basement DVR to ESPN”
“Turn the Basement DVR channel to ESPN”
“Turn Basement DVR channel to ESPN”
“Turn Basement DVR to ESPN”
