Sprinkler Controller
 

What sprinkler controllers interface with Hal? I have gone through the various devices and cannot see that a sprinkler controller is listed. I had two EZIO8SA's interfaced through Hal, and both died. They seemed rather "clunky" so am reluctant to replace them with the same ones. I am looking at the WGL Rain8UpbPro.. Suggestions?

Hi Steve,

I currently use 2 rain 8 X10 modules that have been working fine for about 5 years. I set them up as I1-16 in HAL. With this configuration you do require a serial connection to the X10 Rain 8's to configure their initial addresses, but once done, they seem to work fine.

Thanks Dave. I have settled on six UPB UMI-32 modules and a 12 relay module. Will set up rules and schedules.
