Just wanted to report back on this, after 4 months of no response.

I switched my HAL voice to Microsoft Anna and HAL hasn't crashed a single time in the last 120 days. So, HAL Voices is what was causing the crash. Sure would be like to be able to use what I paid for. Uninstalling and re-installing did not solve the issue.
