Question Set variable to whatever insteon thermostat is set to?

Does anyone know how to set a variable in HALPro that would obtain whatever the current temperature was and the current temperature setting from an Insteon thermostat?

One additional question, is it possible when using an Amazon echo to run a macro "Set Downstairs Thermostat to" (Whatever degree setting you wanted, i.e., 70 degrees)?

Would this require a macro be created for each degree of temperature you wanted to set? (i.e., Downstairs Thermostat 72, cool; Downstairs Thermostat 70, cool; etc.)

Any help is appreciated!

Thanks!
