If you have another web service running on port 80 then you will need to change the port that the HomeNet is set to use. To change the default port, right-click on the ear icon and select
OPEN SYSTEM SETTINGS or go to
Start...
Programs...
HAL...
HAL System Settings. Double-click on
HOMENET. In the
HomeNet Settings screen, click in the
Port field and type a different port number, such as
81. Click
DONE to close the
HomeNet Settings screen, then click
DONE again to close the HAL
Settings screen.
NOTE: You will need to shut down HAL and restart it in order for the change to take affect.
If you change the port number for HomeNet, you will need to modify the URL address you use to access HomeNet. For instance, if the computer name is "mycomputer" then the URL based on the computer name will be
http://mycomputer:81. (Go back to the
HomeNet Settings screen to see the modified URL.)
