Some of my songs have incorrect information. How do I correct the information?

Solution

Open the HALdmc screen by right-clicking on the ear icon and selecting OPEN DIGITAL MUSIC CENTER (this option was added when the HALdmc was installed).
In the lower left corner of the HALdmc screen, click the down arrow - the Custom Song Lists, Current Song List, and Master Song List fields will appear. If the Master Song List field is not sorted by columns, then proceed to Step 3. If it does have columns, then proceed to Step 4.
Click the right arrow button next to the Master Song List title. A pop-up menu will appear. The first option should say VIEW SONGS BY LIST. Click this option. The Master Song List field will change to list songs in column format.
Scroll down the list to locate the song you want to modify (click one of the buttons along the bottom of the screen to sort the information in the grid by that category). Right-click on the song. A pop-up menu will appear. The first option says SHOW SONG INFO. Click this option to bring up the Song Information screen. Add or edit information in this screen, then click SAVE to save the changes. The information for that song will appear in the Master Song List field and at the top of the HALdmc screen when the song is playing.

NOTE: If you change a song's title then you need to modify any custom song lists in which that song appears. If you do not, then you will not be able to ask HAL to play that particular song because the custom song list will know the song by the previous title, not the new one.
