What does the Video Monitoring feature in the HAL HomeNet do?

The Video Monitoring feature allows you to view images and watch videos from the HomeNet screen. The initial release will provide access to anything in the HAL Data Images folder (located by default at c:\program files\hal\data\images). Image files (BMP, GIF, JPG) and video files (AVI, MPG, WMV) placed in this directory will be accessible from the HAL HomeNet Video Monitoring screens. You can save your favorite digital pictures or use third-party security camera software to store images and video clips in this directory.

Why can't I configure a device, macro, mode, rule, address book entry, etc., from the HAL HomeNet screen?
