When I try to record music from a CD, I get the error message, "HAL cannot locate your CD-ROM".

Follow the steps below to correct this problem:

• Shut down HAL.
  
  
• Search the computer for a file called "wnaspi32.dll". (The file is normally located in the "system" or "system32" directory.) Rename the file "ntaspi.dll" (without the quotes).
  
  
• Start HAL and verify the DMC player/recorder screen can now record the CD.
