  • HomeNet Skill Privacy Policy

• This Privacy Policy agreement describes how Home Automated Living (‘we’, ‘our’) protect your (‘you’, ‘the user’) privacy and your data when using the HomeNet Alexa skill (the ‘skill’) on an Alexa enabled device, like Amazon Echo. Please also read the Amazon's Privacy Policy and Terms of Use by the Amazon Digital Services LLC (with its affiliates, ‘Amazon’).

• By linking the Skill, you fully agree to this privacy policy and the following terms and conditions.

• In order to use the Skill you will need a computer with HAL automation software licensed and installed (the ‘HAL system’). The HAL system will require internet connectivity. On the HAL system under HAL System Settings, HomeNet, Advanced, Alexa, the Alexa HomeNet Skill should be enabled and your Amazon account e-mail address entered and confirmed in order to be able to link the HAL system and skill with the Amazon account.

• During account linking the skill will access your e-mail address. This address will be stored in the system for the purpose of account linking. This information will not be shared with third parties. We will not send you any e-mails other than to confirm you are the owner of the email address. We endeavor to make sure this information is stored securely and destroyed when requested.

• This Privacy Policy may change. You can find a link to this agreement on the description page of the skill in the Alexa App or in the Alexa Store. Your continued use of our skill after changes of the Privacy Policy, Terms of Use or the skill itself will be seen as your acceptance of both. This Privacy Policy is separate and apart from your HAL system End User License Agreement (the ‘EULA’).

• Should you have any questions about this Privacy Policy, please contact us.
