Cause:
Wrong button pressed during registration. If, after entering the registration number, you clicked LATER instead of REGISTER. As a result, you inadvertently continued with the 30-day grace period instead of actually registering HAL.
Solution:
Re-register HAL online or call Technical Support at 855-442-5435. The Authorization Desk's hours are listed on the Contacts page.
Hardware changes. Once registered, HAL should not bring up the registration screen again. However, changing some hardware components on the computer, such as a motherboard, hard drive, etc., may cause HAL to believe that it's been installed on a different computer, which is a violation of the License Agreement.
